Description

Ready-to-use capsule filters for reliable performance

Capsule filters C1-C10

Capsule filters offer reliable and efficient removal of micro-organisms and particles in both atmospheric applications such as venting, as well as pressurized applications. They are constructed using a pleated filter media in various material types, integrated in a polypropylene housing with inlet/outlet- and drain/vent connections. Available in various grades including sterilizing for liquid and gas.

They are validated, self-contained, ready-to-use and disposable filters for reliable and efficient filtration in many pharmaceutical, medical and food applications. Designed to meet a wide range of requirements from R&D through to production.

Some of the applications that they can be used for are : injectable solutions, gas filtration, biological fluids, buffer solutions and for cleaning and sanitizing solutions.

Key Features

We offer a wide range of media and sizes of capsules to meet your needs.

The capsules with self-contained filter media are ready to use and eliminate the need for cleaning validation requirements when compared to traditional filter cartridges and housings.

Depending on the requirements of the application, we have filter media to suit, and the construction is all thermally bonded which removes the need for adhesives and binders. With connections in sanitary flange and hose barb, setup is clean and quick, making it easy to get your process back online.

The capsule filters in our range are available in liquid and gas sterilizing grade, and also offer particle depth filters for non-sterile applications and normal contaminant removal. Sterilizing grade capsules follow a strict manufacturing procedure including integrity testing after production so that you can trust our products to deliver reliable and assured performance.

Each capsule filter can be steam sterilized via autoclave. The actual number of cycles will vary depending on the type of media selected. Our range of capsule filters meets full regulatory compliance of USP classes, as well as FDA and EU regulations for indirect food contact.
