Founded in Chicago, IL, A-1 Air Compressor has been a respected and consistent presence in Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana since 1953. In December 2016, we were acquired by Atlas Copco. We’re now a factory direct service branch and are still a proud carrier of Atlas Copco compressed air and vacuum pump equipment. We’re proud to have become one of the largest air compressor sales and service companies in the region. One of the hallmarks of A1 Air Compressor is our air compressor installation services, which are customized to your company's unique needs. We even feature after-hours emergency service anytime you need it! Our trained team will also coordinate all work with your electrician or arrange for an electrician when necessary for added convenience and efficiency.
