Operator Experience

Empower your operators and set them up for success with a smile.

Even though a lot of processes in industrial manufacturing are increasingly automated, many assembly line operations are still being performed manually. And with so much manufacturing processes left to operators, it is worth all the effort to give them the best chance to succeed.

Your operators are after all human and can have a bad day. By implementing systems and solutions that are streamlined and optimized for your operators but also error-proofed, productivity on the line and operational efficiency can be improved. As technology continues to become smarter, more digital, and more interconnected, your operators experiences on the assembly line subsequently become more intuitive and comfortable.

Creating a better experience for your operators helps set them up for success which in turn drives employee satisfaction, something everyone benefits from. And here ergonomics plays an important role.

The Atlas Copco manufacturing ergonomics program was launched already back in 1958 with the introduction of our manufacturing ergonomics program. Today, we have a department of dedicated designers working with ergonomics in close cooperation with our product department. Ergonomics is not only comfortable and good for your tool operators, it also enables them to conduct their work in a more flexible and adaptable way. This is great news for your productivity and at the end of the day, your bottom line economics.

Operator experience is a key factor in modern day industrial manufacturing. Let us share our insights, experiences, and knowledge to help enable your operators to do the best they can do with a smile.
