Pleated membrane filter cartridges

Our comprehensive filter membrane product range, spanning from laboratory-scale filters and capsules to standard filter cartridges designed for production-scale applications, maintains consistent media and construction materials. This ensures a seamless transition as your processes are scaled up, eliminating the need for requalification.

 

Our membrane filters are manufactured using advanced thermal welding techniques that securely seal all components, enhancing device integrity and enabling compatibility with a wide range of solvents, acids, and bases. The use of chemically resistant polypropylene allows for filter regeneration, and our all-polypropylene construction guarantees minimal extractables.

 

All of our products are manufactured in strict adherence to ISO 9001 standards within a controlled environment and fully comply with EU Regulation No. 1935/2004. Furthermore, all materials used are in accordance with FDA Title 21 and meet USP Class VI requirements, providing batch traceability for complete peace of mind.

Hydrophilic PES

Bioburden reduction and sterilizing grade filters

BME/ SME/ SME-X membrane filters provide efficient filtration of valuable liquids in food and industrial applications.

 

Their filter media consist of hydrophilic PES membrane with support layers integrated into a robust cage with reinforced core and end cap, making it suitable for nearly all operation, service and cleaning conditions.

 

They can be used for water filtration, yeast reduction in beer and wine, cold stabilization of alcoholic beverages, and final filtration of beverages.

Hydrophilic PVDF

Sterilizing grade filtration

SMV and SMV-X sterilizing grade membrane filters for efficient removal of microorganisms from valuable liquids in food and pharmaceutical applications. 

 

They can be used for cold stabilization of alcoholic beverages, sterilization of bottled and process water, and filtration of eye care serums. 

 

 Its filter media consists of a double-layer asymmetric, hydrophilic SMV membrane with support layers integrated into a robust cage with reinforced core and end cap, making it suitable for nearly all operations, service, and cleaning conditions.

 

Their key features include high flow and low-pressure drop, wide chemical compatibility, no pre-wetting required and low adsorption of protein, colors and flavor components.

Hydrophobic and Hydrophilic PTFE

Sterilizing grade filtration for high temperature

SMT filters are completely made from polypropylene hardware utilizing thermal welding techniques to seal all the components thus optimizing device integrity, and assuring a broad chemical compatibility with a large number of solvents, acids, and bases.SMT filters are widely used in Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, and Chemical Industries for sterilization of aggressive liquids, absolute retention of particles and contaminants, and pre and final filtration of oxidizing liquids.

 

SMT-P filters provide safe, reliable, and efficient bioburden control and sterilization of oxidizing, corrosive, and aggressive fluids. The filters effectively retain particles and micro-organisms through a single-layer asymmetric, hydrophobic PTFE membrane, fully validated for bacterial retention. Their key features include 100% all Fluoropolymer construction, validated bacteria retention (0,2µm version), and high flow rate with low pressure drop. Thanks to its chemical compatibility SMT-P filters are widely used in Water Treatment, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, and Chemical Industries.

 

SMT-H Sterilizing grade membrane filters provide extremely reliable and safe microbiological reduction in critical applications. They can be used for corrosive liquid sterilization, sterilization of ozonated water, and high-temperature water filtration. They have an extended service life thanks to their outstanding dirt-holding capacity and durable materials. Their filter media consists of a pleated single-layer inherent hydrophilic PTFE membrane with PPS support layers integrated into a robust cage with reinforced end cap, making it suitable for nearly all operation, service, and cleaning conditions. Their key features include high flow and low-pressure drop and wide chemical compatibility.

 

Hydrophobic PTFE for gases/venting

SMT-G sterilizing grade PTFE membrane filters provide absolute filtration of gases in food, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications.

 

They can be used for sterilization of compressed air, nitrogen, and other gases, sterile venting tanks, in and off-gas filtration fermentation tanks, and absolute final filtration. Their filter media consists of a pleated single-layer inherent hydrophobic PTFE membrane with support layers integrated into a robust cage with reinforced core and end cap, making it suitable for demanding operating and cleaning conditions.

Hydrophilic Nylon

Hydrophilic nylon membranes

SMN-X filters provide safe, reliable, and efficient bioburden control and sterilization of valuable fluids used in Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries. The filters effectively retain particles and micro-organisms through a double layer, hydrophilic Nylon 6,6 membrane, fully validated for bacterial retention. Some of their key features include high flow and low-pressure drop, intrinsically water-wettable, double-layer membrane and integrity testable membrane.

 

SMN-XZ filters effectively retain particles and micro-organisms through a double layer, modified Zeta positive, hydrophilic Nylon 6,6 membrane, for enhanced retention of fine particles, smaller than the membranes rating, such as endotoxins and other wide range of pharmaceutical and biological solutions. The filter media with support layers is integrated into a robust cage or housing making it suitable for nearly all operation, service and cleaning conditions. Some of their key features include positively charged double-layer media endotoxin removal, high flow rates, and low filter extractables
