Available for our smart cordless Tensor SRB and our smart cabled Tensor STR nutrunners, TensorPulse is a low reaction tightening strategy that allows for rapid, simple programming, a reduction in hardware, improvements in productivity, making it suitable for a variety of applications that involve both hard and soft joints.

Safer for operators

The TensorPulse tightening strategy enables a safer work environment, as the tool absorbs virtually all of the reaction force that would otherwise be absorbed by the operator. Because the tool bears the brunt of the reaction force produced during a tightening, your operators are able to perform fast, one-handed tightenings while remaining safe and comfortable.

 

Less hardware on the line

By reducing the reaction force assumed by operators, TensorPulse offers the opportunity to ditch reaction bars and other safety devices, reducing hardware dependencies on the assembly line. Lean manufacturing has never been more possible.

 

User friendly and simple

The TensorPulse tightening strategy is simple to use and learn. TensorPulse utilizes Atlas Copco’s existing Multistep programming, allowing users to program up to 10 steps. Users can input a variety of different parameters, including target torque, pulse energy, reaction force tuning factor, and more.
