What’s your personal motto?

"Think twice before you speak." For Ronald, good relationship starts with good communication, the reason why he is being kind and careful on what he say and for him, irrelevant and hurtful things are better to be kept unsaid.

The most rewarding part of his 21 years with Atlas Copco

Staying in the service for years is something to be proud of and equates an extreme amount of passion and loyalty. Ronald says being able to provide for his family is the most rewarding and fulfilling part of his two decades with Atlas Copco and this what pushes him to keep going.

“For me, I will not find [a company] like Atlas Copco. First, I am thankful that I persevered in the company because of good benefits, great camaraderie with my colleagues and the management; no discrimination and we treat each other as family. I'm proud that because of Atlas Copco, I was able to support my eldest son's education and graduate with a degree in BS Criminology, as well as my other kids' who are enrolled in private schools-- which is a privilege for me. And I'm very proud of that.”

Ronald also has his own way of finding joy from his work — machine deliveries is sometimes a long and tiring job but also means there's a new place to visit for free.

"Sometimes, even if I have to stay late and it's a long drive, you will not think about getting tired because you love what you do & you're doing it for your loved ones. And the excitement of going to places you haven't been before, makes you happy even if you just pass by."

Our Logistics team including Ronald is one of Atlas Copco's frontliners who still perform and give the best of their service despite of the Covid-19 health threats. His biggest challenge more than the mobility restrictions and community quarantine happened when he was hospitalized for ten days due to his health condition. This brought him huge amount of stress but eventually recovered and was able to go back to work.

A supportive and hardworking brother and father

Did you know that Ronald once then see himself of becoming an engineer?

It's my dream to become an engineer when I was a kid, but we are financially challenged. I was self-supporting and providing for my family as I am the eldest to eight siblings. I did not achieve my dream but I am happy that almost all of my colleagues in Atlas Copco are engineers.

A real family man like Ronald always puts the family at first. When asked if he find a lottery ticket that ends up winning 10million, what he would do with the winnings? Family is everything. Also, mag iinvest sa negosyo para bumalik at mapaikot yung blessings."

"I will invest in home improvement for my family. I wil share it to my family and siblings. Family is everything. Also, I will invest in a business so I will be able to nurture my blessings."
