Meet Bexley de Cadiz - Service Operations Supervisor

Bexley is the recently appointed Service Operations Supervisor responsible for South Luzon area for Compressor Technique. Started as Field Service Engineer, Bexley believes that the duly served commitment with the customers is the key for a stable relationship with them.

Let’s get to know Bexley more.

What’s your personal motto?

“Work hard in silence & let your success be your noise.”, is something that Bexley puts in his mind in terms of working passionately.

Can you tell us about your journey in Atlas Copco?

Bexley formerly works prior Atlas Copco in one of our competitor brand, and with that, “My previous work was of the same nature with my current work at Atlas Copco – same industry and more on technical services. That made the transition and the journey as smooth as it is.”, he says.

What brings you the most joy to work at Atlas Copco?

It is when Atlas Copco helps you on how you will develop yourself in learning more and how we are being committed to our customers.

Describe your greatest challenge to date while working at Atlas Copco.

As recently appointed Supervisor, Bexley says the greatest challenge so far is, “Becoming a supervisor. It is very challenging since I need to learn management skills. I just used to work with machines before. Now, I need to deal with customers, superiors & subordinates.”, he explains.

What would be the high point of a perfect workday?

Bexley is a father of two little boys which makes him believe in “Getting all things done by 5pm and going home early to see my family.” is a perfect workday.

Describe a proud, if not proudest moment while working at Atlas Copco.

“It’s the time when a customer commended my work. Customer satisfaction is one kind of proudest moment.” says Bexley which makes him feel the appreciation and pride of the good service he has performed. 

If you could choose any alternative career what would it be?

Being a true family man, Bexley says: “A chef. I love cooking dishes for my family if given enough time.” 

If there were a shop where you could buy a personal characteristic or talent you think you lack, what would you choose?

“I would buy self-confidence. I’m a bit shy.” As being used in working in the workshop and compressor room, most likely dealing with machines, Bexley says he did not develop yet his bit of shyness which he is currently working on. 

What characteristic do you appreciate most in a colleague? In a manager or leader?

He answers he appreciates it very much when, “Our manager shares his knowledge with us.” Bexley also mentions that this is one of the characteristics of a good superior that he will be gladly to copy and apply on his own.

Of the Group values of Interaction, Commitment and Innovation, which is your favorite, and why?

“All these three are important but what I like most is -- commitment. Commitment with the customers is the key for a stable relationship with them.” This value highlights how Bexley was able to provide good and satisfactory service with the customers ever since he started as a field service engineer and this will surely be continued and improved now that he is in a very new role in the organization.
