Sales engineer / Инженер по продажам индустриальных компрессоров

Mission

Maximize the market share through direct sales, supporting existing sales channels and development of new ones. 

This is a results-oriented job which involves providing professional and effective value-based selling and product & application knowledge with the aim of increasing revenues of AII divisions.

The role 

Direct sales (b2b) through updated territory management and customer visits.

Develop sales potentials through technical and commercial guidance. 

Manage assigned customer portfolio, securing customer share and satisfaction. 

Maintain good market knowledge over its product portfolio: prices, competition strategies, product positioning and sales channels. 

New customers search and development.

Planning and budgeting of AII product line sales growth.

Market analysis of existing and prospective industrial projects including competitor's activities.

Manage distributor´s network to achieve yearly targets. 

Keep technical information, localized marketing material and competition comparisons updated while directly informing PC of possible product improvements, customer preferences. 

Hold presentations/seminars/webinars for customers about Atlas Copco' innovation solutions.

Ensure compliance with Atlas Copco Group and Local regulations on trading. 

Skills and Experience

Sales engineers typically need a higher technical or engineering degree (compressors/ industrial equipment), or a related field, such as business.

However, if you do not have a degree you can meet qualifications if you have:

- experience in direct sales to industrial customers (> 3 years) or technical experience; 

- experience and strong knowledge of the local industrial market;

- capability to learn and ability to work within team and autonomously, to set goals and achieve it;

- good presentation and time management skills;

- ability to work with numbers and to work in multitasking mode; 

- Fluent Russian and English (upper intermediate), knowledge of Kazakh will be an advantage.
