When assembling headlights, the surface must be pre-treated to achieve the best bond. The goal of the bond is to be hermetically sealed, avoiding contamination and condensation inside of the module. 2C adhesive is often used due to a lack of a physical curing option at this stage. When working with a 2C adhesive a controlled material flow is mandatory to prevent unwanted curing.

Another challenge when working with 2C is the need to manage temperature, as the curing mechanism and process time are highly affected.
