A commerical company found itself in a hot spot during the scorching summer of 2023. Soaring temperatures in their logistics warehouse made it impossible for employees to work comfortably and safely. Faced with the looming threat of a complete shutdown, the company sought a rapid and effective cooling solution.
Power of refrigeration
Four air coolers, or fan coils, were strategically installed in the warehouse, each supplied with cold water from a water-cooling plant. An electrically powered chiller cooled the water through the evaporation and condensation of a refrigerant. By extracting heat from the water, the chiller effectively regulated the temperature within the warehouse.
Cooler heads prevailed
With the Atlas Copco Rental solution in place, the warehouse received much-needed cooling. Crucially, our client did not have to halt operations during installation, ensuring minimal disruption to their business. Employees could work comfortably without being affected by the sweltering heat and operations could proceed as scheduled.
