“Atlas Copco has been in Thailand for more than 60 years initially indirectly and later directly. We have a strong countrywide presence.” “Energy is typically 80% of the total life cycle cost of the compressor and this is where we can make a huge difference. Innovation is in Atlas Copco’s DNA. From that innovation come highly energy-efficient solutions for various customer applications. So examples are the Variable Speed Drive compressors, highly efficient air treatment systems, Onsite nitrogen generation, Energy Recovery Systems. These products along with the services we offer like Energy Audits, leakage detection, smart connectivity of machines, we are well-positioned to help the industry reduce its energy costs, increase uptime and reduce operational costs. Compressed air is typically 10% of factories consumption. So, any reduction in that energy cost has a significant positive impact in terms of financial savings. Also, energy cost reduction helps us reduce CO2 emissions and help the environment.” , Sanjay commented about his plan to support the Thailand industry.

He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India and a MBA from Vlerick Business School, Belgium.

Sanjay added “It has been very interesting and informative initial days working with our excellent team in Thailand, who are passionate about our customers point of view.
