Can you tell us about your current role?
As a Supply Executive, I am currently taking care of activities related to Singapore Machinery for both Industry Air (AII) & Oil-free Air (AIF) Division.
My task starts when sales secure orders and record/process them in the system. After that, I will put up a placement with the factory indicating the order requirements. E.g., LD applies to order, customer project delivery date and etc.
The process does not end here; constant monitoring of orders and ensuring the on-time delivery of the shipment are part of the critical aspect for this position.
When the shipment is due to arrive in Singapore, I will liaise with the Sales on the delivery date and transport arrangement to the site. The process is deemed complete after the invoice is generated.
What brings you the most joy to work at Atlas Copco?
The greatest joy is this job allows me to interface with professionals from different nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds. It broadens my horizons and allows me to appreciate the diverse working environment with the common objective of meeting customer’s needs.
What is your main driver? What inspires you?
Adopting a quote by Mark Twain, “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I believe in job satisfaction through the purposeful things I do daily. I take on every task positively, knowing that I will get strong support from the team.
