Meet Harold Yeo, Key Account Manager in Industrial Air for Atlas Copco Singapore
Can you tell us about some exciting projects you have participated in?
Reflecting on my experiences, one project stands out as particularly thrilling - the supply of N2 generators for an Army logistics base. The generators played a vital role in maintaining the integrity and safety of the ammunition storage. This project provided me with a unique and eye-opening experience, unlike any other project I've worked on before. From site visits to discussions with army personnel, it was a project that demanded a heightened level of responsibility and attention to detail. Little did I know that Singapore had a large logistics storage area in an old quarry, and this project allowed me to explore and discover this hidden gem. This project has left a lasting impression on me and I look forward to taking on more exciting projects in the future.
What key skills are needed when working in sales?
In my opinion, listening is a key skill needed when doing sales. Why? Because only by listening are we able to fully understand the customer's situation. This is where Atlas Copco will differentiate itself from others by proposing the correct solution to solve an existing complication.
What inspires you and makes Atlas Copco special to you?
At Atlas Copco, I am constantly inspired by my colleagues both in Malaysia and Singapore. It's a pleasure to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team of professionals. One of the things that impresses me the most about my colleagues is their ability to work collaboratively towards a common goal. Whether it's a large-scale project or a day-to-day task, everyone pitches in and works together to achieve success. It's truly amazing to see how well we can work together and how much we can accomplish when we are all committed to the same mission. The culture of teamwork and collaboration at Atlas Copco is truly something special, and it's one of the things that makes this company a great place to work.
