She first started as a secretary in the sales department and moved around a few departments such as finance, admin, and HR during restructuring. Her final position was as Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Executive. Finally, Angela is retiring from a fulfilling working journey with Atlas Copco Malaysia, and it’s time for her to relax and retreat. We believe a new and exciting chapter in her life is waiting ahead.

It has been a real pleasure and honor for me to have the opportunity to meet and work with all of you.  I will be looking back with admiration and gratitude for the reward for work well done in Atlas Copco Malaysia and look forward with anticipation to my golden years / new adventure. I believe the reward for work well done is the inspiration and dedication to doing more. A person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected”

“Thank you, Atlas Copco Malaysia, for taking care of my safety, health, and well-being; and giving me the honor as a long-serving employee and member of Atlas Copco’s Gold Club.  I also wish Atlas Copco Malaysia all the best in your business development and growth; and to my dear colleagues in Atlas Copco all the best to your good health, great happiness, and well-being” Angela said.

That’s fabulous”. Khalid also presented Angela with a customized memento and a pen as a special gift to reminisce her time working for Atlas Copco.

An emotional farewell speech was also delivered by her manager. “I feel very sad today that Angela had to leave us but on the other hand, I’m happy for her to see her harvest her lifelong work to endless leisurely life. It’s been a pleasure working with Angela. I appreciate your contribution and support to us” said Doris Sim - Safety, Health, and Environment & Quality Manager.

Angela was also known by her colleagues as a very disciplined person. "Angela was very strict in those days, and in the last couple of years, she has become very calm. But she did a really good job and her disciplined nature which I like the most", said Ellango Rajagopal - the Regional Academy Manager for SEA-Oceania.
