Our History
Atlas Copco (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. was incoporated in Shah Alam, Selangor on July 6 1982. The incorporation resulted in the takeover of the entire operations of marketing, sales and distribution from an earlier distributor, Mulpha Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd. With this takeover and a focus on efficient and reliable service to customers throughout Malaysia, our early start was the opening of two branches and appointment of one distributor. The two branches in Penang and Johor was established in 1983 and 1989 respectively. Penang Branch is to support our customers in the North and Johor Branch is for Southern's customers. Our first distributor was appointed in 1983 to ensure coverage for customers in Sabah and Sarawak. To-date, we have partnered with many distributors in various states to ensure optimum support is given to all our customers nationwide.
