This exciting opportunity has been designed to support someone, this would suit a fresh Graduate who is looking to make the step to a field sales role. Working for Atlas Copco Power Technique, towards a Regional Sales Manager role, you will be responsible for sales of portable diesel and electric compressors and all handheld equipment, through mainly direct channels.

One of our experienced team members will mentor you to help you provide customer solutions, prepare sales quotations and work towards sales targets. You will have all the tools to be effective, a laptop, a phone and a great compensation package with the ability to earn commission. After successfully completing training, you will be expected to be a field-based employee, and the package then will also include a Company Car.

Atlas Copco Power Technique in the UK is made up of a small, dedicated team of outstanding employees who support our distributors and customers with our wide range of solutions. Our products are used across a vast range of industries – from construction sites, and offshore platforms, to sporting events and everything in between.

What your day would look like:

  • Develop existing accounts and look for new direct sales opportunities.

  • Utilise the CRM system and work closely with the marketing team.

  • Promote specialist products to convert these into orders.

  • Work with the Business Line Manager to implement strategies and business plans

  • Proactive account management of key accounts.

  • Manage all customer data, including opportunities and the preparation and submission of quotes.

  • Develop knowledge of all relevant products.

  • Make appointments and visit customers.

  • You will report to the Business Line Manager.

To succeed, you will need:

You will develop existing accounts, maintain resale channels and also find prospects and convert them to new customer accounts. We are looking for someone with a technical understanding (or a desire and passion to learn) who is ultimately prepared to travel and conduct face-to-face meetings with both new and existing accounts/prospects.

  • Hold a full, clean driving licence
  • Committed to continuous learning
  • Fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
  • Live within a commutable distance of Hemel Hempstead.
  • You have the appropriate right to work in the UK.

  • 12 months training, learning and integration; initially working largely from the Head Office in Hemel Hempstead, and conducting some external face-to-face customer visits supported by the Business Line Manager before becoming fully 'field based'.
