Atlas Copco India wins award at 12th Energy Summit

Pune, February 17, 2024: Atlas Copco India, has won the Energy Efficiency Manufacturing Excellence Award for Industrial Air Compressors at the 12th Green Energy Summit and the 4th Green Urja and Energy Efficiency Awards hosted by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC)

National Projects Manager Milind Mehta, together with Key Account Manager Chintan Sheth, received the award presented by Anil Razdan (Former Secretary Power), Suman Chandra (Director, MNRE) and Dr Ashvini Kumar (Former MD, SECI). at a ceremony held at New Delhi’s Habitat Center

The award was conferred by Ms Suman Chandra, Director, MNRE, Mr Anil Razdan, Chairman, ICC National Expert Committee on Energy and Former Secretary Power, GOI, Dr Ashvini Kumar, Former MD SECI and Former Senior Director TERI at a ceremony held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on February 16, 2024. Milind Mehta, National Projects Manager- Applications & Execution – AIF, received the award on behalf of Atlas Copco India.

As part of Atlas Copco’s commitment to providing environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and sustainable solutions, the company recently announced the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Pune. This facility will rely on solar panels for approximately 80% of its energy needs, while three-fourths of the water consumption will be sourced from rainwater harvesting. The facility will be constructed to meet LEED (Leadership in Environmental Energy and Design) criteria.
