Lower cost per meter

Drilling with 30-35 bar pressure allows you to drill more meters in an hour with a lower overall cost per meter. Drilling 500 meters per day is achievable with the DrillAir Y35.

DrillAir Y35 consumes less than 2.2 liters of fuel per meter drilled (dependent on various operational parameters).

High pressure diesel driven compressor with a wide operating pressure range: up to 35 bar or 612 psi

The pressure can be set as anywhere between 15 and 35 bar thanks to the Extended Pressure Range (XPR) technology which makes it possible to drill both faster and deeper. The compact and efficient DrillAir Y35 reduces time and associated costs of geothermal drilling, representing a new benchmark in portable drilling efficiency.

 

Dynamic Flow Boost technology: nominal flow up to 1589 cfm or 45 m³/min

The integrated Dynamic Flow Boost technology can be used to increase flow from 34.8 to 39m³/min (650 l/s), providing faster flushing and stem refill and ultimately a quicker finish time to save up to 30 minutes a day.

 

The latest and cleanest technology

Fitted with an efficient Stage V engine, these compressors contribute to the reduction of harmful emissions. Stage V engines reduce the levels of particulate matter and NOx by 50 to 96% compared to previous models. As an added benefit, they also consume less fuel.

To achieve these results, the exhaust after-treatment system requires adding AdBlue® to the fuel: Atlas Copco Rental can support you with both fuel and AdBlue® management to keep your installation up and running.
