Description

A new approach to high-purity nitrogen

Using a small amount of hydrogen, the NPH removes the oxygen from lower-purity nitrogen produced by an on-site generator to achieve a purity of 99.999% up to 99.9999%. Having a generator produce low- instead of high-purity nitrogen requires 40% less feed air. This means significant compressor energy savings and potential emission reductions. Working with the NPH is less taxing on the electrical system than with a generator only to produce high purity N2, offering relief to facilities with electrical supply limitations. Adding an NPH to an existing nitrogen gas generation system will boost the installation’s N2 production capacity and even double it.
