Sobegi operates at the heart of the enormous Induslacq industrial site in the French Pyrenees, producing and supplying utilities, H2S, filtered water, gas, electricity, steam...tailored to their customers' needs. During a major ten-year maintenance shutdown, they required a reliable steam supply to ensure uninterrupted operations for three weeks.
Eight tons of steam power
Atlas Copco Rental supplied an 8T/H dual-fuel steam boiler, renowned for its advanced technology and efficiency. With a maximum output of almost 8t/h, the boiler features a dual-fuel burner that can operate on natural gas or heating oil, ensuring flexibility in fuel choice. The boiler is CE certified, guaranteeing compliance with European safety standards, and boasts an impressive 95% efficiency rate. Its design allows for rapid deployment and easy transport on a 40-foot trailer, ensuring minimal disruption.
As a plug-and-steam solution, the boiler was delivered as a complete unit equipped with all necessary accessories, including hoses and fittings, to ensure full operational performance. Atlas Copco Rental's team of engineers provided round-the-clock technical support, ensuring seamless integration and operation within Sobegi's existing infrastructure.
