Virtual Stations are a key component of the Power Focus ecosystem because they allow for multi-tool support on a single Power Focus controller. Virtual Stations are where each tool, its accessories, and communication are independently configured, increasing production speed and flexibility. A single PF8 controller can support multiple tools using Virtual Stations and up to 13 tool types. Whether your application requires cabled tools, cordless tools, or mechatronic wrenches, the PF8 will work for you, reducing hardware costs and your footprint.

Start practicing good operator ergonomics by using low reaction tools supported by the PF ecosystem. Low reaction tools help to improve operator experience and ergonomics by reducing the reaction force assumed by the operator without the need for additional hardware and reaction devices. Advanced tightening strategies are another way to improve operator ergonomics, as well as reduce errors on the line. The Power Focus platform supports Multistep tightening, which caters to your specific application and allows up to 10 configurable steps with a single trigger pull.

One software supported by the Power Focus controller is SQS. Another supported software is ToolsNet 8. This software is an exceptional analytical tool that provides traceability to ensure quality and transparency in production. By using ToolsNet 8, you will benefit from software that optimizes the tightening processes by analyzing where and why failures occur most often.
