On-Demand nitrogen saves time and money while keeping a water treatment facility safe

In this wastewater treatment plant in Atlanta, they needed 240,000 cubic feet of nitrogen to properly execute maintenance operations. Time being of the essence, they looked for several solutions. Still, bulk deliveries of nitrogen gas were not cutting it. Logistical and space complications, as well as scheduling difficulties, made them turn to a better solution.

With our NGM7+ On-site nitrogen generation, we could fit the equivalent of almost seven 4,000 Gal nitrogen bulk trucks in a single 53’ trailer package. We provided a total solution visualization to make sure spacing, docking, and connections came through in a smooth operation that went according to plan.

In less than 40 hours of practical operation, the customer could finish their service on the Wastewater treatment plant. The advantages of having an on-demand generation system went beyond control and safety. It helped them be more agile in their maintenances, and they even kept the generator for an extra period to purge and inert the entire piping of the facility.
