Atlas Copco has had its German headquarters in Essen for 60 years. Today’s location on Langemarckstrasse is the domicile of several Atlas Copco Customer Centers. We are situated in the center of Europe; the infrastructure is perfect in terms of transport connections with many train stations, a well developed motorway network, and airports in Dusseldorf, Cologne, Dortmund and other cities. From Essen we manage our Industrial Technique business in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. Our European Application Center for complex individual assembly systems is also located in Essen. Here we develop and engineer products for the demanding European automotive and general industry customers.
