Water for All Italy has worked together with AMREF Italy since 2007. This trip visited five of the so far ten completed projects; two schools, one water kiosk, one well and one dam. Manuela Stagnati is the Water for All Ambassador in Italy who was accompanied on the field trip by Water for All’s Global Coordinator Josefine Gustafsson.

Job description/Mission

As Aftermarket Support Engineer your mission will be to support and monitor the next generation of Atlas Copco products. You will assist field technicians remotely. You will be interacting with the global team responsible for deployment and troubleshooting of various products of Atlas Copco Group.

In the job of Aftermarket Support Engineer, you will be working at the Global Engineering Centre of Atlas Copco Process Management team.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Provide tech support to our customers by either solving or triaging the technical issues presented by different customer centres.
  • Work with Product experts/Engineering to fix bugs or enhance product features.
  • As needed, follow up with engineers on the satisfaction or completion of the support services provided.
  • Engage with field technicians to further understand reported issues and provide guidance, according to solution tree and knowledge base to diagnose and solve incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with them to resolve customer escalations quickly.
  • To remain updated with latest product knowledge and maintain service & support manuals accordingly.

To succeed, you will need  

Knowledge/Educational requirements

The successful candidate should have a good mix of the following:

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation & Control engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and Problem-solving aptitude
  • Familiarity with Oil free air division products
