Reimagining the future of ILS Systems

ILS is here.

The Total Workstation group at Atlas Copco is proud to announce it has enhanced their product offerings in 2019. These fantastic enhancements will carry into 2020 and beyond.

Specifically, the Industrial Location Systems product line is being improved to offer additional systems to an established docket. The following three systems provide different styles of error proofing for the ever-changing assembly type that exists today.

1. SpotPoint

SpotPoint provides bolt level guidance for battery tools. Additionally, SpotPoint allows the customer to utilize error-proofing on moving lines. This all-new feature was not possible previously with encoder-based systems.

2. ILG

ILG offers bolt level guidance for fixtured applications. For applications ranging from simple to more complicated, ILG ensures the highest production quality consistently. ILG is the replacement for the TPS and PRS system that Atlas Copco has been offering for multiple years, which utilizes existing Atlas Copco-articulated arms and torque tubes. Discover the ILG now.

3. ILT

The most recent product to be launched is ILT. ILT will provide the customer the opportunity to lock a battery tool in the station with all-new, state-of-the-art wireless tethering.

Although this product does not offer bolt level error-proofing like SpotPoint or ILG, this product provides station level error proofing.

Looking ahead to 2020, many great things are in-store. Customers of Atlas Copco will be excited to learn there will be advancements with all of these systems.
