The Atlas Copco XAS 400-150 PACE CD is single-stage, oil-injected, air compressors, powered by a liquid-cooled, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine.
The unit consists of an air end, diesel engine, cooling circuit, air/oil separation and PACE control systems - all enclosed within a sound dampening HardHatTM enclosure.
Factory and locally installed options are available including a range of undercarriages.
The design focus is overall product quality, user friendliness, ease of serviceability, and economical operation to ensure best in class cost of ownership.
The intuitive PACE system (Pressure Adjusted thru Cognitive Electronics) gives you the most options from a single compressor. The Xc2003 controller is the secret behind our “versatility range”. These compressors can work on various pressure settings, thanks to the built-in PACE technology. One compressor can power handheld tools at 100 psi, deliver 150 psi for sandblasting or 200 psi for cable blowing.
The Xc2003 also holds more parameters that help you get the most out of your compressor. Full diagnostics, insight into your compressor’s utilization and information about planned maintenance. It’s all there.

Pneumatic Directional boring refers to smaller-diameter bores over shorter distances while horizontal directional drilling, or HDD, indicates larger diameters and longer distances.
PDB and HDD are trenchless technologies that use surface-launched equipment to drill underground horizontally and install pipes, conduits, and cables. These processes can be air-driven and are used in numerous industries, such as utilities and telecommunications, at sites in dense, urban areas and/or where traditional vertical excavations are too dangerous (e.g., under bodies of water).
The units were tested both in lab and field conditions to ensure optimal performance. It’s designed to withstand the toughest working conditions. We have a mobile compressor for any indoor or outdoor application. On top of peace of mind, you'll also gain low noise levels, small footprint, fuel efficiency or zero diesel emissions, high resale value, easy to use and intuitive controllers... and much more.
The 400 cfm range extends the compressor oil service interval to 1000 hours or once every two years. Reduced service intervention and longer life of consumables reduces total cost of operation and increases availability.
Sandblasters are used to clean difficult substances like rust or paint from solid surfaces like metal. In order to choose the correct compressor unit for sandblasting it is important to understand that the compressor doesn’t simply provide a single burst of air. It must sustain the pressure needed for the specific equipment and operation. The compressor needs to have the right air volume. Too little and it won’t be able to keep up with your job, too much and you will have paid for capcity you don't need.
