The productivity of a manual click wrench, with the accuracy and traceabilty of an electronic tool. It really is "More than a click"! Looking and working like a standard mechanical click wrench, we have added digital technology to measure and monitor three important aspects for quality assurance. Connected to a Focus controller, it measure the correct angle is achieved, the right torque is applied and that he operator releases at the proper time. Missing any of these set values results in a visible and audible warning that the joint has not been completed properly. Errors can rectified before they affect production!

Why measure angle as well?
Why measure angle as well?
No other comparable tool measures torque, operator release and angle! Measuring the angle value, against preset parameters, adds a higher level of quality control to the tightening process. It can be used to to verify that all the "members" of a joint are present, e.g. that a gaskets or washers aren't missing. Also, the screw quality can be verified.

Productivity and quality assurance in the simplest form.

Combining proven technology, found in nearly all assembly and maintenance environments, with the latest in wireless and digital technology. The result, a simple effective tool that adds real value. Mechatronic offers the same ease of use that you expect from our standard mechanical wrenches with greater accuracy, quality assurance with traceability and the potential for zero fault forward error proofing.*

More than a click!
As easy to use as the click wrench it is based on, the Mechatronic system gives the operator a clear physical and audible indication when the required torque is achieved. Sending the tightening data wirelessly to the Focus controller faults can be identified and fixed before they become an issue and add cost.

Quality Control
Focus Controller with operator and MWR wrench
Quality Control
The MWR measures torque and angle values, instantly reporting any errors to the operator via LED's on the wrench, or the optional stack lights connected to the Focus controller. Wireless connection of up to 10 wrenches, programmable jobs and 2 wrenches in simultaneous operation, with the Mechatronic system you can do more, do it faster and do it accurately.

Traceable down to a single screw, attach a barcode scanner to the MWR and all tightening data will include the scanned ID. Synatec software will guide operators through the processes, reducing training time for new employees or for new applications. Pick to light systems ensure the right components are used in the right order. Productivity is kept high and errors are kept low, or removed altogether.

Tightening data from the MWR and the Focus controller can be sent directly to Toolsnet software. Access to real time production monitoring and historical data that can show information on every tightening related to a specific product or period, will reduce the time and cost associated with finding and fixing production mistakes.
