  2. Interior seam sealing
    Interior seam sealing requires accessibility through window openings and high robot speeds to keep cycle times low. We offer flexible and reliable sealing solutions, ensuring high-quality seals with minimal rework.

  3. Sound dampening
    To reduce noise and increase comfort, liquid-applied sound dampening materials (LASD) are used on floor panels. These materials can be challenging to apply in high volumes and flow rates. Our systems provide effective LASD dispensing tailored to customer requirements and material properties.

  4. Underbody protection

Car designs have complex geometries and surface breaks where tight seals are crucial to prevent corrosion. Areas like doors, trunks, hoods, rear gutters, roof ditches, and rear lights are hard to reach with precision. Atlas Copco’s SCA product line offers various technologies to meet high demands in function, quality, and aesthetics. Customized nozzles tailored to car design and robot movement are provided.

 

 

Our solutions for cosmetic sealing applications:

 

Mini flat stream: A low-pressure application with high precision and accurate material distribution. Ideal for hem flange sealing on doors, it ensures a smooth surface and excellent aesthetic appearance.

 

 

Jet stream: Suitable for aesthetically demanding seam sealing areas like trunk lids, roof ditches, and rear lights. It supports high robot speeds and ensures a high-quality finish. The tool’s symmetry simplifies robot programming for complex geometries.

 

 

Extrusion: A low-pressure application requiring a short application distance. Special U-shaped nozzles apply beads at trim edges to prevent corrosion, used in high-stress areas like wheel arches.
