Streamlining Nitrogen Supply for a Leading Electronics Manufacturer
Project overview
Our customer, a leading electronics manufacturer, faced a critical issue with their nitrogen supply. Their existing contract with the competitor was set to expire by June 2025, and they were concerned about the reliability and cost of their nitrogen supply. Specifically, when they reached the maximum N2 gas supply, they were being supplied with Liquid N2, which posed an additional challenge. The liquid N2 supply was causing unstable charging, resulting in higher costs and decreased productivity.
To address this issue, our customer turned to Atlas Copco, seeking a solution that would provide a reliable and cost-effective nitrogen supply.
Atlas Copco solution
We proposed a Centralized On-site Nitrogen Generator system, designed with an N+1 configuration to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
Our solution also leveraged our new FLX/dual speed air compressor, GA26FLX, which offered unparalleled efficiency and flexibility. By generating their own nitrogen on-site, our customer would not only eliminate the risks associated with contract expiration but also achieve significant cost savings.
