Atlas Copco Group History

On February 21, 1873, Atlas was founded in Stockholm, Sweden, as a manufacturer of products for railways. 146 years later the company is an industry benchmark with world-leading positions in compressors, tools, vacuum pumps and construction equipment, but also in many other product areas. Close cooperation with our customers, a constant drive to find a better way and commitment to keeping our promises have made Atlas Copco what it is today.

Atlas Copco (Philippines) In. was established in March 30, 1967 to provide industrial productivity solutions to the industries of mining, construction, manufacturing, logging, shipping, and more. With 28 employees at the start of its operations, the headquarters then was located in CMS Building at Pasong Tamo Extension in Makati City. In 2007, Atlas Copco marks another milestone as it moves to its newest home a 5,504 sq.m highly modern, top of the line business headquarters in Binan, Laguna closer to the manufacturing companies in the country.

Atlas Copco has been present in the Philippines for over 55 years. Our headquarters are in Binan, Laguna, and we are proud of our growing sales and service network, which operates nationwide, including branch offices in Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao.

In 2007, Atlas Copco marks another milestone as it moves to its newest home a 5,504 sq.m highly modern, top of the line business headquarters in Binan, Laguna closer to the manufacturing companies in the country. With the state of the art facilities, Atlas Copco warehouse can stock more than 15,000 spare parts to serve your requirements on time. The Service workshop and training facilities can accommodate our employees and customers during seminars and simulation.

After a successful 10-year run in 1977, Atlas Copco Philippines moved to its own building at KM 15, along South Superhighway in Sucat, Paranaque and continued to carve its name as the best in its field.
