Poor lubrication of the compressor element avoided at steel manufacturer.

Our Global Diagnostics Center received a warning at a steel manufacturer with a GA250FF under a Total Responsibility contract, indicating a deviation between the expected element temperature and the actual measured temperature. To make it more concrete: the installation was too hot to work effectively. A technician was dispatched to perform the necessary service activities and, as such, avoided poor lubrication to the compressor element and, primarily, guaranteed uptime.

Unfavorable running conditions at customer with GA110 VSD+ detected

SMARTLINK noticed unfavorable running conditions at one of our customers who has 4 GA110VSD+ compressors under a Total Responsibility contract. These conditions could lead to condensate accumulation in the compressor oil, resulting in irreversible damage to the compressor. Thanks to the installation of a tropical thermostatic valve, the risk was resolved and a breakdown avoided.

Oil shortage detected thanks to rising outlet temperature.

SMARTLINK’s Machine Intelligence noticed a rising trend of an element’s outlet temperature, which could be caused by an oil shortage. During the visit of a Service Technician, we observed that the conclusion of the data was correct. A small oil leakage was detected and repaired, resulting in an automatically decreasing outlet temperature.
