Inspect and clean all elements of the light tower
Inspect all elements for dust and debris. Use water and detergent to clean the cooler, radiator and alternator to avoid corrosion and overheating. Make sure to clean solar panels regularly.
Replace the air and oil filters
Oil quality rapidly deteriorates at higher temperatures, leaving behind more residue in the oil filters. To avoid any issues, replace the filters in your light tower beforehand.
Change the oil
Use genuine engine oil Paroil E which is suitable for high temperatures
Check engine and alternator vibration damper
High temperature can accelerate aging of vibration dampers, causing failures. Check the condition of your vibration damper in hot weather.
Do a regular maintenance checkup
Regularly do scheduled maintenance for your light towers to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Check for fuel leakages, exposed and damaged wires, fasteners etc.
