What is an Air Receiver?
22 February, 2022
An air receiver, sometimes referred to as a compressed air tank, is an integral part of any compressed air system. Learn more about them here.
Atlas Copco’s HTA high-pressure air receiver makes air available at a constant pressure by storing compressed air for peak demand. By avoiding undue load/unload cycles, it saves energy costs and extends the life of the compressor. The HTA is ideal for high-pressure applications.
The HTA operates effectively at ambient temperatures from -10°C/14°F to +55°C/131°F, for wet and humid compressed air. Optional condensate drain.
The HTA is designed for maximum reliability according to a dynamic calculation by finite elements, for the calculation of resistance, stress, pulsations and vibrations (CE 97/23 – ASME section VIII, div 3).
Our HTA high-pressure air receiver stores compressed air for peak demand. Air is readily available at a constant pressure, while you save on energy costs and extend your compressor’s lifespan.
