Constructora Gardilcic uses Atlas Copco Rental equipment for hole drilling project in Chile

Antwerp, Belgium, December 27, 2016: when Constructora Gardilcic looked for a reliable partner to supply high pressure air for its drilling project, Atlas Copco Rental was the obvious solution!
With over 30 years of experience, the company has positioned itself as one of the leaders in the field of underground construction and mining: Constructora Gardilcic has built over 500 kilometers of tunnels as well as underground caves, chimneys, ramps, underground shafts, mining preparation, electrical installations and paving.

This indeed represented then an important advantage over competition.
Constructora Gardilcic's project consisted of drilling holes of up to 5 ½ in diameter for VCR chimneys, drainage and services. The Atlas Copco XRVS 476 Diesel Compressor was a perfect match. It was used for high pressure air supply during the drilling work with DTH equipment.
We have been very satisfied with the rented equipment because it performed just as expected. The main benefit I can point out is the high level of reliability one gets out of a quality product that meets the standards. It was also important for us to have a good background support, and with Atlas Copco Rental we did receive this for sure!
