Peter Stone Celebrates 50 Years Working With Us

This week we celebrated the work anniversary of Peter Stone. Peter has worked with Atlas Copco for the past 50 years, starting out as a service apprentice.
"On the 25th of January 1971, I was a shy, bright eyed farm boy starting his ‘Fitting and Turning’ apprenticeship with Atlas Copco, at their new factory in Blacktown," said Peter.
In 1994, Peter had worked his way up to Field Service Technician, a role he continues today.
"It’s good to get out and about and seeing customers"
Celebrations for this massive achievement were conducted virtually, with colleagues logging on to congratulate Pete.
"Thankyou Atlas Copco for looking after me and providing me with a rewarding career over the past 50 years - here’s hoping that health permitting I still have a few more years left in me," added Peter.
