Atlas Copco Rental are a division of Atlas Copco focussed on the hire of industrial air compressors and related machinery. Our compressors are the outcome of more than 140 years of research and innovation in the compressed air sector. The result is vast range of state-of-the-art air compressors that provide the highest quality compressed air at maximum possible efficiency.
We carry a large range of screw compressors to suit a vast range of applications: oil-free air, high-pressure, towable and offshore compliant. Our fleet is specifically tailored to Australian conditions, with machines suitable for applications in many key industries: mining, construction, manufacturing, power, oil & gas and offshore platform work.

Oil-free air compressors
Atlas Copco was the world-first compressor manufacturer to obtain the
ISO 8573-1 Class Zero oil-free air certification. All oil-free machines in our fleet hold this certification, ensuring top air purity for your critical applications and eliminating the risk of product contamination or damage to your tools / compressed air system.
Atlas Copco Rental’s oil-free air fleet includes a range of
electric or
diesel compressors, available in stationary or portable configurations. Our machines cover a pressure range from 0.5 – 10 bar (7 – 145 PSI), and a flows up to 1600 CFM (762 L/s).
High-pressure air compressors
Our fleet is equipped to handle demanding high-pressure applications such as those of the mining, construction and oil & gas industries. Our machines can reach pressures up to 35 bar (507 PSI) while delivering flow up to 1300 CFM (613 L/s). Our high-pressure machines all come in towable configuration and can be mounted on a truck flatbed for maximum portability around your site. We can supply boosters to reach up to 250+ bar if required.
Electric compressors
Electric compressors are the perfect solution for clients with access to power who are conscious of keeping costs low. Our electric compressors are available in oil-free or oil-lubricated varieties, and come in all sizes. From small portable units that deliver 30 CFM (14 L/s) to heavy-duty machines that deliver up to 1350 CFM (632 L/s). Our electric fleet operates between the 7 – 10 bar range. Most of our electrics come with integrated dryers, and some are available with Variable Speed Drives.
Offshore-compliant compressors
We have a range of oil-flooded and oil-free compressors that are purpose-built for offshore applications. These machines carry DNV 2.7-1 certification for easy mobility onto ships and platforms, and have a host of safety features to ensure maximum protection during offshore work. Our fleet also includes Zone 2 compressors for platform use.
We also carry a number of DNV-compliant lifting cages, allowing us to move our standard compressors in and out of them. This means that if we can fit it in the cage, we can get it onto your offshore site.
