Air compressor ZR90VSD+FF
Like any factory, pharmaceutical also needs compressed air in Oman for a range of applications. Since the inception of this facility, customer has counted on installed Atlas Copco ZR90 units with standalone desiccant heatless dryers to achieve the minimum requirement of Class 0 oil free air with PDP -40 degC, supplied by Bin Salim Enterprises the local distributer in Oman.
Thanks to use of superior components and product design of Atlas Copco’s Z range oil free compressors, the existing units have served the plant for over 20 years ensuring maximum uptime and delivering the right performance.
During their recent expansion for compressed air in 2020, Atlas Copco was considered and were given the opportunity to present our latest innovation on ZR90VSD+ FF oil free compressor.
Integrated iMD HOC dryer (-40⁰C PDP)
Understanding and working together with our customer is essential to help us realize their requirements beyond just co mpressed air. With Oman Pharmaceutical, the focus was on Lowest Cost of Ownership and here some of our valuable features like true VSD+ with larger turndowns between 20 - 100% offered a significant power saving. Also, zero purge air loss with integrated iMDG rotary drum adsorption dryers with guaranteed dewpoint of -40 degC at almost at no power consumed was very well placed to meet their objectives. Combination of new generation elements with directly driven by IE5 efficiency permanent magnet water-cooled motors is already a leap ahead in reducing the drive transmission losses in the industry today.
Bringing such accomplished advantages into the product for OPP, the total return on investment was attractive 2 years.
